There are some precautions that you should take, to avoid data loss in memory cards,

• I recommend that you make a backup copy of important data, since some or all data recorded on the card may get corrupted or erased by electrical noise, static electricity or card malfunctions.
• Do not allow dirt, water or foreign objects to come into contact with the terminals on the back of the card. Do not touch the terminals with your hands or metal objects.
• Please note that SD cards formatted or edited by using other manufacturers’ cameras, a computer or application programs, may not operate correctly in your camera.
  We recommend that you use the SD cards that have been formatted in your camera.
  The card supplied with your camera may be used without further formatting.

When a SD card is formatted, all the data present on the card is deleted. But there is nothing to worry, as they are not permanently erased from the card. Since they are just marked for deletion, you can undelete pictures from SD card using a data recovery software.

Step 3: To recover the file, select the file/folder you wish to recover or simply select the root folder to select all the found files and click Save. A window will appear asking to select destination location to restore recovered data (See Figure c).

If you choose to save data to local drive and specify the file types you wish to ignore during restoration process, check if you want the data to be saved in compressed form and click OK. Now the program starts saving the data to selected destination location of your choice.

After the saving is complete a message will popup intimating the same. All the data will be restored in a new folder by name “UndeleteX “. You can now access your recovered data as before.

Caution: Do not save the recovered file to the USB drive from where you are recovering data, for it may result in overwriting of data, and would result in permanent data loss.

A common misconception is that once you delete a file from the Recycle Bin it has been erased forever, and it is no longer present on the drive. Fortunately when you empty the Recycle Bin, Windows does not actually delete the file instead the space that the file occupied has been freed up and is listed as reuse space. If the system needs the space that this file occupies then the file may be overwritten. How to recover files deleted from Recycle Bin with REMO Undelete

IMPORTANT Note: Saving files to the partition or drive from where you are recovering data, for it may result in overwriting of data, and would result in permanent data loss.

So, if you have deleted files from Recycle Bin it is not hard to recover those deleted files with REMO Undelete.

If you have deleted a file using the DEL key, then recovering it is pretty easy, simply go to the Recycle Bin right click on the file you want to recover and click “restore”. The file is now back to its previous position. If you have deleted a file using the SHIFT+DEL keys then recovering it will involve an Undelete software. Step 3: After you find the deleted file you wish to recover simply select the file and click “Save”. You can also select the root folder to select all the found files. A window now popup asking to select destination location to restore recovered files (See Figure c).

You can save the recovered deleted files to local drive, or burn to CD or DVD disk. By default it is set to save the data to local drive.

Save data to local drive: Select a logical drive in your local disk and specify the file type you wish to ignore (file filter) while recovery. This is to filter the file types which you do not want to recover. You can save data in compressed form by checking “Compress data” box and click OK.

Save data to CD/DVD : Select a burning device on which you want to burn the data. Select drive to be used for temporary cache. This space will be used as a temporary cache when burning large data. As you click OK button, the program starts burning data to selected CD / DVD. Once all data is saved, a pop up message is displayed intimating the same. The data will be saved in a new folder as “UndeleteX” in the selected destination location and you can now access the recovered data as before.

Tips: Never copy / save anything to the drive from which data is being recovered. This may cause overwriting of recovering data and would result in permanent data loss.

Step 3: Once you have found the files you had deleted the next step is to restore them to a safe location. To recover the file, select the file/folder you wish to recover or simply select the root folder to select all the found files and click .

NOTE: You can use .to locate the file you wish to restore and .option, which can be used after Find option, to locate already found file in other locations, present if any, in the big tree structure formed.

Step 4: After you click the Save button, a window will popup to select destination location to restore recovered data (See Figure d).

If you choose the Burn data to CD/DVD option and specify the file types you wish to ignore during restoration process, check if you want the data to be saved in compressed form and click OK. Select a burning device on which you want to burn the data and select drive to be used for temporary cache. This space will be used as a temporary cache when burning large data. Now the program starts to write your recovered data to a CD / DVD.

Finally REMO Undelete will inform you that the file recovery is complete! Open the destination folder to check the recovered files, or go back to the file list to recover more files.
