Undelete pictures from SD card
An SD Card is a specially designed flash memory card, which is small in size, but can provide high amount of data storage capacity. They are widely used in small hand held devices such as cameras and mobile phones. SD card data loss is a common occurrence, and there are definitive ways to get around this problem.
There are some precautions that you should take, to avoid data loss in memory cards,
- I recommend that you make a backup copy of important data, since some or all data recorded on the card may get corrupted or erased by electrical noise, static electricity or card malfunctions.
- Do not allow dirt, water or foreign objects to come into contact with the terminals on the back of the card. Do not touch the terminals with your hands or metal objects.
- Please note that SD cards formatted or edited by using other manufacturers’ cameras, a computer or application programs, may not operate correctly in your camera.
We recommend that you use the SD cards that have been formatted in your camera.
The card supplied with your camera may be used without further formatting.
When a SD card is formatted, all the data present on the card is deleted. But there is nothing to worry, as they are not permanently erased from the card. Since they are just marked for deletion, you can undelete pictures from SD card using a data recovery software.
